In stockThe Klengels (Julies Klengel (1859-1933) were a very musical family in the second half of the 19th century.
This wonderful work, originally for cello, is a real tour de force for euphonium.
Steven Mead recorded this on his Tribute album with the Michigan State Wind Orchestra. The connection of course was with Leonard Falcone, whose arrangement inspired performance on the CD.
It's a great work, and a complete workout for the performer.
